When I was 19, I tried network marketing and boy did I fail miserably. That was before I knew the internet. I went to the meetings, did the presentations and all.
I attended my first Xocai healthy chocolate party on Friday and I realized why this can work for anybody.
It was so much fun. People were eating chocolate, laughing and smiling. Dipping all types of delicious fruits into some xocai healthy chocolate nuggets fondue and chatting. After everybody’s serotonin levels were kicking in, we all made are way into the living room to sit in front of the HUGE flat screen where we watched the perfect combination presentation.
While it was playing, I looked around the room and was amazed to see SMILES on people’s faces and an overall glow to their eyes. (What’s really in this chocolate I was thinking, LOL). Even I felt great and it was because I was in a room full of positive, fun people and I really enjoyed the company.
After the presentation ended, ex-pro baseball player Wally Joyner gave a presentation to the whole room. (Man, Wally knows a TON about the health benefits of dark chocolate and had some fantastic testimonials for what the product has done for his sister and himself.)
And that was it. Some small talk afterwards and people got their questions answered and the people their that were interested in starting a healthy chocolate business got signed up.
Totally relaxed, fun night. How simple can this be? Ask 10 people if they would like to attend a party with ex-pro baseball player Wally Joyner and have some fun eating some delicious healthy chocolate.
This coming from a guy who said he would NEVER, EVER do a network marketing scam again because he lost so much money and so many friends from the first time he tried.
So when I told a good internet marketing buddy of mine that I would definetely start to do alot more offline activities to build my Xocai healthy chocolate business, he said:
“You went to a healthy chocolate party, & now you think parties are the way to go? You have got to be kidding me?!”
